Ca. concern over own ‘State of the Birds”
March 23, 2009
Last weeks State of the Birds report is a study of the conservation issues of the nations birds but on a more local level CA. has its own concerns. Gary Bogue wrote about this in his column today and here’s the direct link to the Audubon article.
The Yellow-Billed Magpie is mentioned on the Audubon Watchlist as a species of national conservation concern. Yesterday we went out to Del Valle Regional Park in Livermore and were able to spot these beautiful birds.
